Laura Schilli

A passionate communications and fundraising professional for the arts, Laura Schilli has garnered eight years of non-profit experience working within organizations, such as, the World Chess Hall of Fame, Grand Center Inc., and most recently, Hawai‘i Contemporary (formerly the Honolulu Biennial Foundation). She has led and assisted in an abundance of fundraising efforts through annual campaigns, corporate sponsorships, foundation and government grants, as well as festive fundraising events, earning between $250,000 - $600,000 in gala activities.

In 2019, Schilli helped kick-off the St. Louis-based podcast, cool WIP, after receiving a generous award from The Luminary’s Futures Fund re-granting initiative. In 2020, the podcast was nominated for LaunchCodes’s Moonshot Collaboration Award for joining forces in unexpected, unconventional ways to work across fault lines for a better STL. Schilli earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Photography from the School of Communications at Webster University in 2014.
