Jaye Pires-Jancose

Jaye (they/she) is an herbalist, community organizer, and student of the land based in St. Louis. Their organizing practice lives at the intersection of healing work and creative expression, and before joining Counterpublic they organized around abortion access and sex education in Texas. Together with Counterpublic, Jaye will be engaging St. Louis community members to weave together their interests, imaginations, and priorities as guideposts for the 2026 exhibition cycle.
